Is teeth whitening safe?

Teeth whitening is a safe, effective procedure, and does not typically include any negative side effects. At-home teeth whitening treatment may have an increased chance of side effects, including white spots on the surface of the teeth or irritated gums due to the use of trays. Minor side effects may include temporary increased tooth sensitivity for both in-office and at-home treatment.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Veneers can last between 7 to 20 years. With optimal oral hygiene and regular dental appointments, your veneers can last for a very long time. Veneers can be repaired or replaced in the rare cases when they come off or chip.

How do I care for dental implants?

You will need to care for your implants just as you care for your natural teeth. Brushing and flossing are important to prevent the build-up of plaque. Regular dental cleanings and exams are still an important part of ensuring great oral health.

Is it painful to receive a dental implant?

With the advances of modern technology, most of our patients report feeling very little discomfort both during and after treatment. Our team is trained and certified to offer sedation dentistry, which provides a relaxed, comfortable experience during treatment.

What is sedation dentistry?

Sedation Dentistry is a term used to describe the use of medication on a patient to relieve stress during a dental treatment. We offer Nitrous Oxide, sometimes known as laughing gas, to make you feel more at ease. This medication is safe and effective and administered by trained and certified dentists. It is used to help you enter a highly relaxed state, providing a more positive dental care experience, even for patients who suffer from severe dental anxiety or dental phobia. We want you to feel safe and comfortable throughout your treatment and sedation dentistry can help achieve that.
